Perfect lamp the set the right mood

I used this lamp in guest room i just repainted to light up corner w/o taking up space...it will function as a music room and spare bedroom and it fits perfectly. I had seen this for over $300 elsewhere so what a great find...shipped quick.

I love the looks and sturdiness of this lamp, but shoppers should be aware that the light is extremely bright. It works great for me to do needlework in the evening, especially since the bulb is an OTT light. But without other lights on in the room, it can be a bit stark.

Bought two-the remote sold me on this lamp, however, the remote's battery compartment is badly engineered. One of the positive battery contacts is recessed too far, thus impeding contact. This was solved by building up the contact. (the problem was in both remotes) I also did not really like the fact that it was supplied with a plastic shade, but once the lamp is assembled and put in place, it is not noticable. Other than these issues, the lamp is acceptable, and attractive.

I use this lamp at the corner of a leather couch and loveseat and it provides the perfect amount of lighing for reading as well as illuminating the area in general, which has an 18 foot ceiling height.

Provides a nice artistic corner lamp in our new guest room. 5 min. to assemble.

I really like it, but I didn't like the fact that it came with no instructions. I love my lamp it is perfect.
